National Institution and Innovation Policy (NISP)
National Innovation and Start-up Policy (NISP) in 2019 for Students and Faculty of Higher Education Institutions has been initiated by MOE’s Innovation Cell and AICTE. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, B G Nagar being a part of NISP framework of AICTE and MOE for encouraging students as well research-oriented faculty towards Innovation and Entrepreneurship related activities.
Vision
“To identify / generate novel ideas from the faculty and students, nurture the innovators to establish into a successful entrepreneur by providing necessary infrastructure, training and financial support”
Mission
• Establish professional networks to support various aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship..
• Create necessary infrastructure to prototype ideas and to incubate startups.
• Develop startup competencies by regular training, competitions, and other related activities..
• Establish processes which guide and validate the conversion of business ideas into sustainable startups.
• Participate on national and global platforms to understand the competitive landscape..
