Green Audit​

Faculty of Pharmacy, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy recognizes the importance of environmental sustainability and undertakes green audits to assess its ecological footprint and identify areas for improvement.

Objectives of Green Audit:

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, laws, and standards governing waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.

Assess and optimize the use of resources such as energy, water, and raw materials.

Identify opportunities to reduce waste generation, increase recycling rates, and implement waste segregation and management practices.

Identify sources of pollution, emissions, and environmental hazards within the college.

Identify energy-saving opportunities, and implement energy-efficient technologies and practices to reduce carbon footprint.

Assess water usage and implement water-saving measures such as rainwater harvesting and irrigation practices.

Promote biodiversity conservation by preserving green spaces within the college campus.

Encourage the procurement of environmentally friendly products, materials, and services.

Raise awareness among students, faculty, and staff about environmental issues.

Establish mechanisms for ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of environmental performance.
