Depending on the severity of the issue, the Cell or the principle will resolve it after consulting with other management members, parents, and faculty. The administration, department heads, teachers, various staff coordinators of committees, and the Grievance Redressal Cell work together to quickly and effectively resolve grievances. Better stakeholder relationships and satisfaction are improved by an efficient complaint management method.
The existence of the CGRC provides students, instructors, and non-teaching staff with a useful forum to air their concerns. Faith and belief in the system have been created as a result of the CGRC’s wise decision-making and active involvement. As a result, the institution has developed a lively, welcoming, and accommodating environment.
The Complaint Management Mechanism is carried out in three levels/layers in the institution:
Level/Layer – 1:
The departmental level grievances are attended by the concerned department heads.
Level/Layer – 2:
Unresolved grievances at the departmental level are referred to the Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution. The students can approach directly to the Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution with their complaints of common interest too.
Level/Layer – 3:

Remedial Coaching
Name of the Convenor: Dr. Yenduri Suvarna
Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, B G Nagara is a top college that provides quality teaching and learning to students from varied backgrounds who enrol. Following the identification of the learners, the department develops a schedule and assigns themes to faculty members. Notices inform students and instructors about the timetable and specifics of remedial sessions. The remedial lessons are then held on a regular basis for the identified slow learners, according to the timetable. During these courses, the faculty arranges supplementary study materials for the students to bridge the knowledge gap and help them to deal with the academic course in which they are enrolled.
Specific steps adopted for slow learners:
1. Tutorials, talks, dialogues, and corrective coaching.
2. Exercises in concept clarification and issue resolution
3. Explanations and conversations in both languages
4. Provision for standardised but streamlined lecture notes/course content.
5. Topic and practical revision.
6. Improving communication skills and the art of reading-learning.
Expected Outcomes:
1. Improvements in the university test outcomes of identified slow learners.
2. Increased frequency and engagement in classroom teaching and learning.
3. Improvement in confidence and a more true sense of self.
4. Deepening and cultivating one’s understanding of personal motivation.
5. Students are given possibilities for the future.
6. Developing confidence to confront the placement drives.
7. Increased interest in the issues chosen.
The college makes every attempt to accommodate advanced students by providing them with appropriate platforms.
Skills Enhancement–Programmes
Name of the Convenor: Mr. Tripathy Amrutanand, Asso.Professor
Soft Skills is a prevalent word nowadays that refers to personal transversal skills such as social aptitudes, language and communication ability, friendliness and teamwork ability, and other personality attributes that characterise interpersonal connections. Soft Skills have long been thought to be complimentary to Hard Skills, which are the skills to do a certain task or activity. Soft skills are regarded critical for success in personal and professional life, thus they are necessary for students seeking any type of work.
Enterprises typically recruit new employees, particularly fresh graduates, based on their Soft Skills rather than their Hard Skills. This is also true for technical professions, because in order for a firm to remain competitive, it must build excellent and effective teams as well as a collaborative working environment.
The college have planned a variety of events to help students enhance their soft skills while attending the school. These activities assisted learners in learning and acquiring soft skills such as Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Written Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Creativity, and Leadership, among others.
Organization held workshops for students to enhance their presentation skills. Students engage and take an active role in the Seminars. Topics are assigned to students to prepare and present in order to evaluate their performance. Every year, the departments make such lectures a regular component of the campus.
The Group Discussion is a common activity on campus, whether or not it is part of the curriculum. They acquire the art of argumentation, which will aid them in their future lives, and they build interpersonal skills among themselves.
Sports
Name of the Convenor: Mr Madhu B K, Asst.Professor
The entire educational system includes physical education. It aids in achieving the ultimate goal of education, which is the accomplishment of holistic development. Sports and games are important parts of a student’s life. A student should put in a lot of effort in their studies to succeed in competitive exams. But he should also engage in sports and activities to benefit from the strength and vitality of life. A student should spend time on games and athletics in addition to academic studies.
We become worn out when we work or study by ourselves. We continue to be ineffective at performing any task. We lose our mental fatigue through sports. Without sports, education is lacking. One of the most effective departments is the Department of Physical Education and Sports. It aspires to be the best at everything it does and bring honour to the college. We continually advance in the field of sports with the assistance of college instructors.
Throughout the session, we organised inter-departmental tournaments for students as well as some sports activities for staff, keeping in mind the concept of “SPORTS FOR ALL” (teaching and non-teaching). It is one of the largest co-curricular activity programmes, with numerous opportunities available to all students and faculty. This venture will allow students and staff to have fun, learn new sports, improve social interaction, and put their physical abilities to the test. These competitions also provide a break from daily routine tasks and help to recreate or re-energise them.
Regularly from the sports department we conduct following sports events for the students and staffs:
- CRICKET
- VOLLEYBALL
- TABLE TENNIS
- CHESS (BOYS & GIRLS)
- ATHLETICS (BOYS & GIRLS)
- FOOTBALL
- KABADDI
- BADMINTON (BOYS & GIRLS)
- CAROMM (BOYS & GIRLS)

ABOUT NSS
The National Service Scheme is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports of the government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s centenary year in 1969. Aimed at developing students’ personalities through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in colleges.
The program aims to instil the idea of social welfare in students and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. In doing so, volunteers learn from people in villages how to lead a good life despite a scarcity of resources. It also provides help in natural and man-made disasters by providing food, clothing, and first aid to victims of the disaster.
At national level, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India is the nodal authority, which works with state-level NSS cells. State-level NSS cells are responsibility of the respective state governments. Within states, each university has University level NSS cell under which institutions (schools and colleges) based NSS units operate. Most government and government-aided institutions have volunteer NSS units. They are managed internally by a responsible party from the school or college, who reports to the regional NSS coordinator.
